Gary DeMar's False Claims About Whitefield

Gary DeMar (FB): "Here's what Sandlin isn't telling you. Whitefield Theological Seminary (WTS) was very accepting of full preterists at one time. Sam Frost was a student at WTS while he was a full preterist (FP). He received two degrees from WTS. Talbot accepted and welcomed him with open arms when he was a FPist."

Gary DeMar (podcast): "Where were these guys when Sam Frost was at Whitefield Theological Seminary, and Whitefield Theological Seminary was granting degrees to many of these guys?"

Folks, there's a reason why Gary DeMar has blocked me on FB, stopped responding to emails, and has now blocked one of the kindest men I have seen in this whole ordeal, Dr. Ken Gentry. He has also blocked Matt Doyle, Ricky Roldan, and others who have attempted to hold him accountable for his words over the years.

There's a reason why Gary blocked Sam Frost and isn't sharing how Sam had already answered him regarding these charges, including the fact that Sam was not an FP when he enrolled, became one later against Dr. T's wishes and numerous objections, was not allowed to propagate FP in any coursework, was not producing any doctrinal teaching material for students, and got his Th.M. after he left FP.

Gary claims that Whitefield was granting degrees to many full preterists. WHO? Notice that Gary does not provide any evidence for this at all. He just blurts something out and expects you to believe it without question, just like he does when he claims that there has been no exegetical work done on these issues in 2,000 years of church history. The only other FP I know who was enrolled in WTS back then was Larry Siegle, and Larry dropped out.

There's a simple reason why Dr. Sandlin didn't bring any of this up....because Gary is taking his cues from a conspiratorial nutcase who goes by the initials R.E. and nothing of what he has plastered all over Gary's FB is true.

Gary told me in email that he would delete all of the slanderous remarks against Dr. Talbot and asked if he had missed any. After questioning whether he had deleted any of it, I sent Gary numerous links, only for him to ignore it all. So either Gary lied to me, or he changed his mind as an act of revenge.

Either way, it's not a good look for Gary at all. These are all red herrings to divert you from the fact that he doesn't have answers despite 40 years of 'expertise' in this field, or he does but doesn't want to tell you because of the possible ramifications.
