Mrs. Birks posted this under Gary DeMar's pathetic attempt to pin the growth of hyperpreterism on Dr. Talbot.
Yes, it's true. Dr. T was very kind to Kelly Birks, just like he was to me, Sam, and others during our heretical days. That does not, however, equate to acceptance or tolerance of said heresy.
Mrs. Birks left out an important detail.
When Kelly asked Dr. T "to be in oversight over his ministry," he DECLINED.
And why did he decline? Because Kelly was promoting heresy with his denial of the bodily resurrection.
Dr. T gave the same response to Sam Frost when he wanted Dr. T involved with his "ordination"...nope.
Gary and others have mistaken Dr. T's kindness for acceptance. It never happened.
And it really is a shame that people have to twist history or hide the full story, all in an attempt to put the blame at Dr. T's feet for the mess they created.
If Dr. T had shunned them...he would have been the problem.
Be kind and take them out to lunch...you still end up being the problem.
You never win with some folks.
