The name “Flint Knoll” points to a specific section of Macanudo’s Honduran holdings, where soil composition and elevation contribute to a distinct character in the leaf. Release #2 presents with a warm, golden brown wrapper that feels supple in the hand, with a slightly rustic texture that hints at its farm centric origin. The opening third offers toasted cashew, light cedar, and a soft creaminess that immediately signals balance. As the cigar progresses, gentle baking spice and a honeyed sweetness begin to layer in, never overpowering but steadily building. The midsection brings a subtle earthiness and a faint pepper tingle on the retrohale, adding structure without sacrificing smoothness. The final third maintains its composure, finishing with refined wood notes and a lingering creamy texture.
