Good post, just one point of disagreement: last I talked to him, Darren is not full preterist. Yes he is a friend of Gary, but he is not saying anything in his post about eliminating any references to the final judgment.
Is he just rejecting the label, or does he actually affirm a future, visible return of Christ and a bodily resurrection of the dead? Gary tells people he's not a full preterist, even though he believes full preterism and says so in his book with Kim.
I have never heard Darren affirm full preterism or deny the future coming of Christ and would have to ask the elders to discipline him if he did. The PCA should be disciplining Gary DeMar right now.
